Optimized Stiffness
A wheel is not just a rim, a hub, and spokes, but rather a system that works as a whole and where many elements influence performance. Spoke tension has a considerable impact on the stiffness and feel of a wheel.
Drilling for Oblique Spoke Heads
By matching the angle of the spoke hole with the angle at which the spoke exits the rim, we significantly reduce stress at the spoke head. Implementing this technology requires extra effort in design and manufacturing, but the result is a much more reliable wheel and a much lower risk of breaking a spoke.
J-Bend Spokes
During our reliability tests, J-Bend spokes showed significantly higher fatigue resistance, allowing the wheel to maintain its stability and strength for longer.
Spoke Head Locking
We apply a specific threadlocker liquid to each spoke head. This liquid increases friction between the threaded part of the spoke and the spoke head, eliminates air between the two, and ensures that the spokes do not lose their tension, while still allowing adjustments if necessary.
