Warranty Trek/Bontrager
This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials for Bontrager and Trek products only. Any product that is not explicitly mentioned below is excluded. Trek/Bontrager reserves the right to deny a warranty claim
Lifetime warranty
-Frame kits (frame and rigid fork), main frame and suspension swingarm for the life of the original owner
-Bontrager wheels with carbon rims
G2 year warranty
Bontrager Clothing
Bontrager Parts and Accessories
All rear suspension hinge components including bearings, rocker arm and associated hardware and components
Bontrager wheels with alloy rims
Paint and stickers
This warranty does not cover the following aspects
Normal wear
Montage incorrect
Corrosion
Improper maintenance
Assembly of components, parts or accessories not originally designed or not compatible with the bicycle sold
Any damage or failure resulting from accident, abuse, misuse or negligence
Labor cost for partial or total replacement
Non-proprietary products (any other original component or part) are covered by the original manufacturer's warranty
Cosmetic scratches or non-structural defects on Bontrager carbon rims or wheels.
This warranty applies to the following:
• All 2020 and later model year bikes
• Parts and accessories purchased after August 1, 2019.
Successive owners
Subsequent owners (second or subsequent) are entitled to a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase of the Trek frame and Trek fork from the retailer. Items like wheels, suspension forks, drivetrain components, etc. are not included. Proof of original purchase is required.
30 day unconditional guarantee on Bontrager products
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your Bontrager product, you may return the item to the store within 30 days of purchase for an exchange or refund.
This warranty covers Bontrager aftermarket components, apparel, and accessories. Original equipment sold on a bicycle is excluded from the warranty. Used items must be cleaned for return. Items that have not been cleaned will be refused.
Helmet replacement guarantee in the event of a fall or accident
In the event of a fall or accident within the first year of purchase, Bontrager will replace your helmet free of charge. To benefit from this guarantee, you only need to provide us with your damaged helmet, your original proof of purchase, details of the incident as well as your full contact details for the replacement helmet.
Carbon Care Wheel Loyalty Program
If you've damaged a Bontrager carbon wheel while riding within the first two years from the original date of purchase, you're eligible for a free repair or replacement. This warranty applies both to the original carbon wheels of a bicycle and to wheels purchased separately.
Any product that is not specifically mentioned above is excluded. However, it may be covered by the Trek Care 2012-2019 Limited Warranty.

This warranty is voided in its entirety by any modifications made to the frame, fork or components. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective item, at the discretion of the manufacturer. This warranty begins from the original date of purchase. Trek and Electra are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, except where prohibited by state law. Exercising the warranty outside of the original country of purchase may result in additional charges or additional restrictions. Warranty duration and details may vary by country. The English version of this warranty takes precedence over any other version.
